Serif = have stroke/attributes at the tips of the letter.

Leading is vertical spacing between line of text
Ragging is typography refers to the irregular uneven a vertical margin of a block of type. Usually, it is the right margin that is ragged. Window is when final line of a paragraphs begins a new column. Arphans is when paragraphs end in single words.
Tracking is similar to kerning but it spaces between froup of letters.
